Camping at Redbank Valley Park |

This public Park is located in Clarion County, one of the most beautiful parts of Western Pennsylvania, and is nestled in a partially wooded area with trees surrounding. The Park offers tent and unit camping, electric water and sewage hookups, modern facilities with showers, swimming pool, playground, roller skating rink, tennis courts, ball fields, horseshoe pit, and picnic shelters. Park and community events are held at the park and shelters are available for rent. This camping season contract, rules and regulations are to be read by all campers. The Redbank Valley Park is operated by Commission Members who have adopted these rules for the park effective January 1, 2009 and no other contracts or agreements will be honored. Camping season is April 15 through October 15. Redbank Valley Park Commission monthly meetings are held the second Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the skating rink. Attendance is open to the public and campers.

This camping season contract, rules and regulations are to be read by all campers. Redbank Valley Park Commission monthly meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the skating rink. Attendance is open to the public and campers. The Park Commission is made up of five tax contributing municipalities each represented by one elected official and one tax payer representative. These municipalities include Redbank Twp Armstrong Co, Redbank Twp Clarion Co., Porter Twp., Hawthorne Borough, and South Bethlehem Borough.

FEES & PAYMENTS
Camping privileges are only granted to those campers that have paid in full.SITE REQUIREMENTS
- The season site rate is $700.00.
- This rate is for individual family units including unmarried children less than 21 years of age currently living in your home. Seasonal campers will be given the opportunity to pay for they’re site by no later than June 1st of the contract year to avoid penalty fees.
- You are permitted to pay the yearly fee on a payment schedule of four equal installments February-May
- Camping privileges are only granted to those campers that have paid in full. A finance charge of 1 ½% per month (18% per year) will be charged on all payments received after the June 1st deadline. See the Payment Violations under Complaints, Disciplinary Matters and Suggestions for details on payment violations.
- Air conditioners will cost $50.00 per year with the maximum allowed usage being 20 days per year. You may only run A/C when you are at your camper. Penalty fees may be assessed for those who do not abide. A/C charge is $3.00 per day for all other use.
- Electric heaters, *additional refrigerators and Golf Carts are permitted however a fee of $35.00 for electric heaters. All additional refrigerators will be charged $60.00 and must be portable and kept on camper’s porch. All units must be maintained in good running condition to avoid excess electric use. Freezers are prohibited! Golf Carts are permitted and will cost an additional $25.00 registration fee for all golf carts, and an additional $25.00 charging fee for electric golf carts. *All second refrigerators cost $60 no matter what the size of the fridge is.
- Penalties! Campers who use any utility without paying will be subject to harsh penalties.
- Early Bird Season Rate Discount: pay for your site by June 1st of the contract year and receive a $25 discount ($675.00 fee). All campers paying after June 1st must pay the full $700.00 fee. Take an additional $5.00 off when you send your completed contract in by no later than the first Friday of February of the contract year.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Water, Electric and Sewage! Each campsite is provided with one water, electric and sewage hookup. Campers are only permitted to use one of each hook-up for they’re camping units. All campers are advised to be conservative with they’re utility consumption. Excess water and electric use will directly affect future campsite rates. Most campsites are provided with 30amp electric (some 20amp). Excess electric usage will overload the breaker. If you are running A/C on high and start your microwave etc. you are likely to overload the system. All campers must shut off they’re water at the campsite pedestal when they plan to leave the camp for more than 48 hrs. If maintenance or management find a problem at your site we will reserve the right to turn off all utilities to your site. Example: If management finds a leaking hot water tank, water and electric will be shut off to the site, leaking water lines will cause personnel to shut off water service to your site, A/C left on when camper has left the site for longer than a suitable time electric will be shut off. Park personnel nor the Park Commission will be responsible for loss due to deactivated utilities. Fines may be imposed.
- You must have permission before bringing in a camping unit; check to make sure it conforms to management’s standards.
- All new trailers or campers to the park must meet the following standards:
- Trailers will not exceed a width of 11’ or length of 42’.
- Trailer’s extensions will not exceed 3’ width.
- Porches and roofs are not to exceed 8’ wide and are not to exceed the trailers standard awning length.
- Porches are not to be enclosed or permanently attached.
- Management must site any camping units placed on Park property. The office must be informed and approved given from Commission members before any changes or improvements are made to the campsite. This includes, but is not limited to building or repairs of decks, additions, sheds, etc.
- Season camper #1 and #2 are responsible for the maintenance of their own private lines from their trailer to the Park’s hookup. Leaking and damaged lines are to be repaired immediately.
- Contact the Park manager or maintenance personnel if problems arise with electrical, water or maintenance of Park property. The Park maintains electric boxes and individuals are not permitted to alter or change systems in boxes.
- Campers are responsible for their camping unit’s current registration and license plates as applicable. Campers are solely responsible for taxes or fees of any sort assessed by any government agency as a result of their occupancy and or improvement to their unit.
- If you sell your trailer, the site does not go with the trailer. Contract arrangements are to be made with Park management.
- If permanent camper wishes to transfer sites, camper #1 and #2 must receive prior approval from the Park Commission and all movement is to be supervised by Park maintenance. All personal property must be removed from the site before camping unit leaves for any reason. Removal of unit constitutes abandonment of the site and of this contract unless prior arrangements are made.
- Over extending site boundaries is prohibited. Any camper informed of this violation must make adjustments and conform within 48 hours. This includes Sheds, porches wood piles etc. that interfere with the use of any surrounding campsite.
COMPLAINTS, DISCIPLINARY MATTERS, AND SUGGESTIONS
- DRIVE SLOW! 10 MPH. Children at play.
- Quite hour is between 11:00 p.m. (or at the closing of public events) and 8:00 a.m.
- All children are required to be at their designated campsites unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.
- Alcoholic beverages are permitted at campsites only. Please observe all State and Federal Laws.
- Disorderly conduct of any kind such as rowdiness, profane language, excessive noise or drinking outside your designated site will not be tolerated and will be reason for eviction from the Park.
- No one is permitted to use your campsite without season camper #1 or #2 being present.
- Additional camping units on your site must be registered and applicable daily rates must be paid.
- You cannot rent your camping trailer to someone else.
- The owners of each trailer are responsible for mowing their own lot monthly. There is a $25.00 mowing fee per month if you fail to mow your grass and Park personnel have to. The Park would not be responsible for any damage to your property while mowing.
- You must bag your leaves and place them along side a park roadway for maintenance to collect and dispose of.
- Keep your site clean, neat and orderly. Please take your bagged garbage to the dumpsters provided throughout the park. Please break down all boxes and compact your trash.
- You may put canopy lights up but no yard lights or additional outside lighting is permitted including in trees or self erected poles. Lights may only be used when you are at your camper, unless you are given permission to do otherwise by management.
- Please be conscious of your electric and water use. The Park pays for these utilities, however any excessive usage by campers may directly affect future seasonal camping rates.
- No cutting, defacing, or trimming any standing trees or bushes, alive or dead. No nails, screws, hooks, chains, rope, etc. on any trees. You will be charged a fine of $50.00.
- Please ask prior to driving any stakes, as there are electrical cables underground.
- Restrooms within the Park facilities are open to all. Please observe proper behavior when utilizing restrooms. Please supervise small children. Do not wash clothes, dishes, utensils, or pets in the restrooms. Please be clean and thoughtful of all that utilize the Park facilities.
- Camping units may be washed twice per season, however the Park reserves the right to restrict this if deemed necessary. There is to be no washing of vehicles at any time.
- Pets MUST be kept on a leash at all times and owners must clean up after them, scoop and bag it and dispose in garbage. Do not leave pets unattended or allow them to bother other campers. Site holder is unconditionally and fully responsible for the actions of any pets brought into the Park and must have proof of current rabies vaccination. No pet deemed to be dangerous by the Commission is permitted at campsite under any circumstances.
- Farm animals are not permitted at camping sites. No horseback riding in the Park.
- Weapons of any kind are prohibited. Do not bring in any type of air rifles, fireworks, explosives, or noise making devices on to Park property.
- Firewood is to be neatly stacked at each campsite and not to exceed 1 cord per site.
- Vandalism or theft of Park property or facilities will not be tolerated. Violation of rules, regulations or policies of the Park may, at the manager and Commission’s discretion, be sufficient grounds for termination of this contract. Anyone so informed by the manager or Park personnel must leave immediately and will not be entitled to a refund. Management/Commission reserves the right to determine conduct that is acceptable.
- You are responsible for your guests within the Park. It is the camper’s responsibility to inform and enforce the campground’s rules with your guests.
- The park has a limited number of picnic tables. Please help us take care of our tables by either returning the table to a picnic shelter for winter storage or covering it at your campsite.
VEHICLES
- Written complaints are to be addressed to the Park Manager. Notification will be submitted to the Park Commission members at the next scheduled meeting. Remedy of complaint will be assessed by management and handled in a timely manner, if applicable.
- Policy on violations: 1st-a verbal warning; 2nd-a written warning; 3rd-termination of camping privileges. Depending on the severity of the violation, a first-time rules & regulation violation may be subject to termination of camping privileges.
- Payment Violations:
- 1st-After May 31st campers will be notified via phone or mail by management that they’re annual camping rate has increased to $700.00;
- 2nd- campers will be notified by certified mail that they are now being charged 11/2% interest per month and up too 18% per year on they’re late payment and will have lost all camping privileges until the matter is resolved, restrictive devices may be placed on the RV unit;
- 3rd- Final Warning: campers will be notified via certified mail that they have 30 days from the date of the letter to resolve the payment issue before the matter is brought before legal action is taken, at this point restrictive devices will have been placed on the camping unit, also management shall have the option to pull trailers from the site to a storage area until payment is made in full, plus a $35.00 service fee will be charged.
- Feel free to convey to management any suggestions you have for improvements or activities you would like to see at “your Park”.
ADDITIONAL PARK ACTIVITIES
- Season camping site fees are for one camping unit on one site. Only 2 vehicles in addition to your camping unit are permitted at your site. Please keep roadways clear. Additional vehicles may be parked in designated areas at the skating rink parking lot. If you wish to check your camper unit during off-season, please park your vehicle at the main gate or skating rink and walk to your site.
- There is to be ABSOLUTELY NO riding of ATV’s, dirt bikes, or any other unregistered or uninsured vehicles on any property owned by the Redbank Valley Park Commission. Mopeds are allowed when insured and driven by a licensed driver. All unlicensed vehicles must be kept on the trailer or truck bed within the grounds. A $35.00 fine will be imposed for each violation of said rule. EXCEPTION-the Redbank Valley Park Commission holds a yearly Poker Run for ATV’s. For this weekend only, it may be necessary for ATV riders to drive through the park to access the trails and camping sites. This does not give permission for anyone to exceed the 10-MPH speed limit in the Park and proper behavior must be maintained.
- Golf carts may be used in the park only after you have registered the vehicle and paid a registration fee. Once your camping site is paid for in full you may register a golf cart at the park office. You will agree to golf cart rules and regulation when you sign the camping contract.
- All vehicles and bicycles must obey speed limit and road directional signs. No bicycle riding after dusk without proper headlights and reflectors. This rule includes all Park roads within and surrounding the Park and parking areas.
- Bikes, skateboards, roller skates, etc. are not permitted on the tennis courts, picnic shelters, grandstand and this is not a play area for small children.
- The Clarion County Fair holds activities in the Park one week in July. Access to the park will be limited by closing some entrances and roadblocks are erected for added security. Do not drive around roadblocks. You must follow rules set up by the Clarion County Fair Association and pay them accordingly to access any Park grounds other than your camp site. The camping contract provides room to list up too four primary campers. These four campers will be eligible to purchase weekly passes for the Clarion County Fair.
- You are responsible to observe the rules posted in the pool and playground areas. No children under 9 years old are permitted in the pool area unless directly supervised by their parent or responsible adult. The pool attendants have full authority to restrict swimming privileges of anyone disrupting the pool area or refusing to obey the rules posted. Children unsupervised or being disruptive with Park grounds will be removed or restricted. Campers should check with management for free swim passes.
- Small children are to be supervised in the playground area.
- The Park holds several outdoor events. Special events held by the Park will be supervised and concluded at a reasonable time. While some may not appeal to everyone, please be considerate as we try to hold a variety of events to please campers and the general public alike.
- Picnic shelters or Park buildings are rented for private use and “hold harmless contracts” must be signed for all alcohol use. All alcohol must be maintained in the designated area only. Public drunkenness is illegal behavior and will be prosecuted.
RELEASE AND AGREEMENT TO HOLD HARMLESS
- By signing the contract, the camper(s) hereby release Redbank Valley Park Commission in advance for responsibility of, any and all losses or damage to any equipment or personal property of the camper(s), his family, guests, or visitors, while on or about the premises of the Redbank Valley Park. In addition, the camper(s) hereby in advance release and agrees to hold harmless Redbank Valley Park Commission from, and against any and all liability for personal injury or death of a camper(s), his family, guest or visitors. This release and hold harmless provision hereby extends specifically to the negligence, and/or negligent acts or omissions of the Park owners, Park Board, and employees of the Redbank Valley Park Commission. In addition the camper(s) hereby release Redbank Valley Park Commission from damage, injury or loss inflicted by any other camper, visitor or guest of a third party and also releases Redbank Valley Park Commission from negligent acts or omissions by the Park Owners, Park board and employees.By signing the contract, you being the camper(s) release the Redbank Valley Park, Park Board, Employees of Redbank Valley Park Commission and its owners from any losses, damage, physical harm, injury or negligence, and agree to hold harmless these mentioned. These rules and regulations can be changed or altered at any time by the authority of the Redbank Valley Park Commission.
