    Are you and looking for an outdoor location to hold your next family reunion, birthday party, graduation or company picnic? Redbank Valley Municipal Park offers eight pavilions with water and electric service. All of the park’s pavilions are within a short walk of the restroom facilities, swimming pool, playground, tennis courts, and horse shoe courts. Shelters are available to rent by the half or whole. Please be aware that full pavilions rentals have the privacy of the entire shelter, where as half shelters may be shared with other picnics. Upon request and based on availability, full shelters may be arranged to accommodate up to 300 people.

    The Park also offers the Merry Go Round building for rent at the same price as a half picnic shelter. Shelter rentals also receive a one dollar discount on swimming. Group discounts for swimming are also available. All patrons are advised to be familiar with the Picnic Shelter rules and regulations.

    Note that each shelter and building offers a description; it is the responsibility of the renter to read and understand this information. This description will explain the number of tables included in the shelter the RVPC considers each picnic table to offer seating for 6 adults however the renter must use his or her judgment in determining this factor for they’re rental. Utilities available at each facility are listed. If water is not listed that means water access is not available at the facility itself and you may have to travel to a different location in the park to access water.

    You may add tables to most shelters by contacting the park office in advance. Each additional table costs $5.00 per table.

    Shelter rental rules and regulations
  • Payments should be prior to entering the shelter. Payment must be received by no later than 3pm the day of rental! You are advised to make payment in advance as the park office is only open on random weekends. Checks are to be made payable to the Redbank Valley Park. If the office is closed you may leave payment in the office drop box located just to the right of the office door.

  • The individual's name appearing on the application (person whom made the reservation) is responsible for conduct and actions of each member of his or her party and the party's member whose name appears on the agreement must be in attendance throughout the duration of the function.

  • Each group using the pavilion is expected to care for their assigned area and clean up before leaving the premises.

  • The park does NOT guarantee absolute privacy to any group. Shelter reservations do not include exclusive use of other park facilities. This includes the use of the ball fields and tennis courts. These areas are first-come, first-serve. Please limit your use of facilities to one hour if another group is waiting.

  • YOU MAY PREPAY FOR A PAVILION RENTAL FOR THE NEXT YEAR IF THERE SHOULD BE A RENTAL INCREASE FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DIFFERENCE!

  • You are not guaranteed the same shelter and day for next year until you have arranged a rental agreement with the park office. Picnic Shelter Rental is on a First Come First Serve Basis! You will not be permitted to make a reservation until you have paid for your current rental.

    GENERAL INFORMATION:
  • Half shelters will receive no more than 8-10 picnic tables, for more tables you must rent a full picnic shelter!!!
  • Shelter renters receive a discount on swimming. Pool hrs. may vary due to weather and low attendance!
  • If someone is in the reserved shelter, kindly ask them to leave, if they don’t leave, contact the Office.
  • All reunions/parties must conclude by 8:00 pm Special arrangement can be made at office for longer hours
  • All activities must be maintained within the rental area. Noise should not bother other rentals.
  • All disturbances and complaints must be reported to the park office! VEHICLES:
  • Observe all STOP signs & SPEED LIMIT OF 10 MPH.
  • Parking of vehicles must be done in a manner to where roads are not blocked.
  • NO unlicensed vehicles are permitted on park grounds.

    CLEAN-UP:
  • NO LITTERING–you are responsible for policing your area. All garbage is to be collected and placed in nearest barrel for removal.
  • If you have any glass container empties, take them home with you to be recycled there.
  • Turn off the light before you leave.

    ALCOHOL BEVERAGES:
  • No alcoholic beverages are permitted outside of the rental area. Only those of legal drinking age (21 & over) may consume alcohol.
    Public drunkenness and disorderly conduct of any kind will be reason to be evicted from park.

    CHILDREN:
  • Children are to be supervised at all times especially in the restroom, playground and pool.
  • Instruct your children that if they become lost, they should go to the park office (next to pool) and wait there.

    GENERAL SAFETY:
  • In the interest of public safety, weapons and fireworks of any type are prohibited. Possession of weapons or use of fireworks will be reason to be evicted from the park on the first offense and the renter will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times while on the park.
  • Portable grills or other cooking devices inside shelters are prohibited. They must be kept at least 20 feet away from shelter.
  • Propane or helium tanks must be removed from park. Failure to do so will result in a fee being levied to pay for disposal.
  • All fires must be extinguished before leaving.
