Redbank Park is a community park intended for the recreation and enjoyment of our visitors, residents and they’re guests. Redbank Park offers a wide variety of recreation including RV and Tent camping, Pavilion rentals, reception hall rental, roller skating, swimming, tennis, a large playground with a new addition and a ball field.
WHY DO WE HOLD THE ANNUAL POKER RUN AND OTHER EVENTS?
Funny Fundraiser The Redbank Valley Park Commission is proud to bring you the 5th Annual Bluegrass and Country Music Jamboree Please feel free to contact the Park Office with any questions.
In the past proceeds from the Poker Run, BMW Rally, Clarion Fair Rent, Bluegrass Jam, Truck and Tractor Pull and numerous other activities have been used by the Park Commission to reconstruct the community playground, as well as the rehabilitation of many of our facilities. The 2007 and 2008 proceeds from the events provided the Cash Match to construct the new grandstand at the Park. It is the intention of the Redbank Park Commission to use the 2009 proceeds of the Events to pay for the cash match of our newest grant project. Work to be performed will include the removal of old playground equipment and the construction of a new toddler playground specified for our areas youth ages 2-5 years. New multi bay swing sets and spring riders will be added throughout the playground use area and the adequate borders and safety surface will be added as well. In this same project the Park Commission will be completely re-surfacing the existing tennis courts located at the Park. New lines, posts and nets will be added to the renovated courts and one of the two tennis courts will be turned into a basketball court. The annual Poker Run and other park events provide the funds required to apply for State Grants which require matching funds. As of 2009 the Park Commission has developed a Master Site Plan which details the full redevelopment of our beloved community park. Details of the plan are available at the Park office and coming soon details will be available on the web.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
Sincerely,
Redbank Valley Park Commission
